For over 4 decades, Bill Reichel has been engaged in the leasing, management, brokerage, receivership and workout of commercial properties throughout the State of Florida. Since its inception in 1987, Reichel Realty & Investments, Inc. has facilitated thousands of commercial transactions totaling over 2 billion dollars of gross business volume.
Prior to forming Reichel Realty & Investments, Inc. in 1987, Mr. Reichel served the Federal Savings & Loan Insurance Corporation as receiver for Sunrise Savings & Loan. There he was involved in the sale and management of a portfolio of commercial properties valued in excess of $800 million dollars.
Other past professional experience included the position as Director of all commercial properties for Dan Kron & Associates. There, Mr. Reichel was director of all leasing, management, and financing for a portfolio of 10 major shopping centers located throughout the State of Florida.
Mr. Reichel is recognized as an expert witness in the commercial real estate industry and has been retained as a consultant for numerous lending institutions as well as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Federal Savings & Loan Insurance Corp., and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Mr. Reichel has also been named Receiver for various commercial properties including commercial shopping centers, office buildings, hotels/motels, mini-storage facilities and industrial properties. The Firm has served as exclusive broker for several Trustees’ for both State and Federal Bankruptcy cases and has also assisted in the auction of commercial properties throughout the State.
Mr. Reichel’s expertise includes a wide range of services including managing, leasing, and marketing shopping centers, apartment buildings, hotel/motel properties, mini-storage facilities, office and warehouse projects. Mr. Reichel also has extensive expertise in construction and development management services and real estate tax appeal work.
Mr. Reichel is an active member of many business and charitable organizations including The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, several area Chamber of Commerce Organizations, International Council of Shopping Center Developers, National Assoc. of Corporate Real Estate Professionals, Leadership Palm Beach County. Mr. Reichel was a board member for Goodwill Industries for many years and was an active member on the advisory board of CARP. Mr. Reichel was formerly an instructor in leadership, communications and human relations principals and holds a black belt in Kempo Karate.
Bill resides in Palm Beach Gardens. He has two children, Grant who is a vital part of the management group at Reichel Realty & Investments Inc. and Morgan who is married to Reed Goldwasser and they have a son Bodhi who is 2 years old. They live in Montana.
